Perfect location and okay prices. Reasonably priced hotel. Embers Steakhouse is literally 150 ft away. Lovely base for city break in Jasper.

Embers Steakhouse, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. Free Wi Fi was a welcome feature. We really enjoyed staying at marmot lodge. The accommodation was only 1 km from Medicine Lake.

Rooms warm with electric heat, no cold spots. Front desk allowed early check-in for dogs due to frigid temperatures. Comfortable beds, quiet motel. Equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, electric kettle. Clean pool, hot tub, sauna. Elk seen grazing nearby. Good location. Spacious unit, comfortable bed, nice kitchen space, swimming pool nearby. Great beds, clean rooms. Very satisfied with stay.

The convenient location and hot tub and pool.
Air conditioning not functioning properly in Unit 104 and had poor sleeps, also pillows too hard.

It was in a great location, with a good set up, clean rooms, etc. There was a problem which we considered significant, which was able to be resolved during our visit.
We could not get an internet connection in our room, which we needed for work reasons (even on vacation) and the free room internet was one reason we booked. The staff was unable to resolve the internet problem the first night and all the next day, and so moved us to a different room with a good connection late on the second day of our stay. That room was a higher "class" of room than we had booked and was great. We would have been very satisfied with our original room if the internet had worked, or with the same type of room with working internet. We were appreciative that the staff was able to find a solution that worked for us. However, we had to call several times, have several discussions with staff, and spend 3 hours working in the lobby on our first morning before they realized that they would not be able to get a decent connection in our original room and decided to move us. They were very gracious about it when they did. But we would have moved out of the hotel if they had not been able to resolve.

Great location near shops and restaurants, within easy walking distance. Rooms are nice and quaint with clean facilities.
Limited facilities for those with mobility issues. On-site restaurant was average, lacking atmosphere and quite pricey.

If you are looking for an accomodation with hot pools to have some fun with friends or if you have kids who like to play in the water this is the right place (although probably too expensive just for this purpose).
This lodge can not be compared to other nice lodges in the area which are in the same price range. It is basically a motel with the advantage of having a large indoor pool and a small outside jacuzzi (both not very attractive for adults - kids might see this differently). The rooms and the bath rooms are small and dark, the inventory had its best days a number of years ago, and the location is not what can be expected from a lodge in this price category but rather from a morderate priced motel (which was not what I was looking for and what I paid for).

Did not like rooms, small, smelly, outdated, facing main road and railroad, window overlooking parking, cars parked outside door, motel feel for an expensive hotel price.

The hotel, located on the main road, is a convenient choice with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are adequate, with comfortable beds and a good shower. the staff is welcoming and offers helpful advice for sightseeing. Free Wi-Fi, a pool, and a hot tub are available to enjoy.
The breakfast, however, was disappointing, with limited options and food that had been quickly depleted by other guests.

We had an enjoyable two-night stay at Marmot Lodge. The room was brilliant, featuring a small kitchen and living area which allowed us to cook our own meals. The location, although at the end of the main street, was still convenient for exploring the area. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The Marmot Lodge in Jasper was a great choice for my recent stay. With frigid temperatures outside, I was pleasantly surprised to find a warm and cozy room thanks to the electric heat system. the absence of a noisy heater fan was a plus. the front desk staff went above and beyond by allowing me to check in early, accommodating my two dogs who couldn't be left in the car. the room itself was extremely comfortable, with excellent beds and all the necessary amenities including a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and electric kettle. a highly recommended and comfortable choice for anyone visiting Jasper.
Felt like royalty, no complaints at all.

I did not like the hotel.
Did not like: the smell of the room, the kettle (which did not work), the fluorescent light, and the parking situation (wound up parking a block away from our room one night). The most annoying part was when I presented a coupon which was not redeemed because I booked online (even though it does not specify anywhere on the coupon or on the website that the booking must be made over the phone). I budgeted my trip based on the rate with the coupon.
